Hello, my name is Modi. I’m 26 and an army wife. I am often mistaken for being much younger due to my personality as well as my small physique.

I was raised in Melbourne, Australia and I’m now somewhere living in the U.S.A. I don’t like America very much but I do like my American husband, so I’ll bite. My best friend is Boris The Dictator, an extremely cranky little monkey who makes me look like a ray of sunshine in comparison. I refuse to fly anywhere without Boris.

I love web design/development and being creative. I enjoy drawing, writing and messing around with colours, CSS and Photoshop. Other nerdy interests of mine include old-school/indie RPGs and adventure games; cheesy Hong Kong action movies from the 80′s; imported ramen noodles and reading old-fashioned British murder mysteries. I also enjoy experimenting with vintage fashion and working out regularly. Electronic music is a very large influence on my life and I’m often shaking my butt awkwardly to the sub-genres of ambient/downtempo, trip-hop, melodic trance, mellow dubstep and liquid drum & bass. I also dabble in classical music; Vivaldi in particular.

I’m not shy, however I generally dislike being in the company of others. Large crowds, small talk and loud noises irritate me. Anxiety issues, strained relationships and the fact that I am now in living in a foreign world have influenced me to grow more and more emotionally disconnected with other people.

I’m anal, difficult, have anger management issues, and am probably extremely ridiculous. Despite these traits, I am also a fair person who finds happiness in helping others. I am emotionally unstable and have regular anxiety attacks due to my husband’s line of work, however, I find that creativity has helped me to grow stronger. I truly am a fool; however, I am steadily learning, my marriage is constantly developing, and this personal website contains various depictions of my growth, drawn or written with absolute brutal honesty.
